Attorney Profile
Seamus Boyle has represented injured persons for over twenty years. As a former partner with Weiseman, Hely, DiGioia & Boyle (1995-2003) and now in sole practice, Mr. Boyle successfully directs all aspects of a plaintiff's personal injury litigation, from client intake through discovery, trial, and appeal. Trials vary from Worker's Compensation, automobile accidents and slip and fall injuries, through medical malpractice, legal malpractice, wrongful death claims, and nursing home abuse and neglect cases. In addition to his personal injury work, Mr. Boyle handles commercial litigation, consumer protection matters, employment law, and Social Security Disability claims. With a stellar reputation amongst clients and peers alike it is no surprise that Mr. Boyle has been designated by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, a designation granted to only 1,554 out of the 56,446 active lawyers in New Jersey (as of 12/31/02)! This designation is given only to attorneys who are able to demonstrate sufficient levels of experience, education, knowledge and skill in civil trial practice. With this certification, Mr. Boyle is more than an attorney who specializes in a particular area of law. It means, according to the NJ Supreme Court, that he has been a member in good standing with the New Jersey bar for over 5 years. He has fulfilled ongoing continuing legal education requirements, has been favorably evaluated by other attorneys and judges familiar with his work and has taken and passed a written examination in civil trial law. In addition to being a member of the New Jersey State Bar, Mr. Boyle is licensed to practice before the United State District Court for the District of New Jersey, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a New York Law School and Harvard University graduate. Mr. Boyle was raised in Bayonne and is now a resident of Hunterdon County, and is a member of the Somerset County Bar Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
